Over the weekend and rather spontaneously, James booked us a cabin in the Trinity area. A town named Dildo, a brewery in a town smaller than my high school graduating class and a cabin perfectly settled in a seaside cove. We aim to experience as much of the Newfoundland province as we can, before our impending migration back to the states.  

So much thought goes into planning an epic vacation, but where do you start? How do you get and stay organized with so many must-see places in one destination? 

This adventure was unlike any either of us has ever seized. To tour a country in a tiny camper van, go days without showering, experience severe variety in both weather and landscapes, to make light of travel fiascoes and to soak up luxury all in one expedition. Iceland, you did us well.

Akureyri was by far our favorite town in all of Iceland. Part Three of the Iceland Series explores more of this beautiful area and the last blunder we experienced in the final days spent in our camper van. 

Ten days traveling Iceland flew by. I'm overjoyed to share our journey, but could not possibly pour all of my thoughts, experiences and photos into one post. These Newfoundlanders really have it figured out. Christmas is not summed up by the day and its eve. Rather, here, the days on either end have their own significant meaning for celebration. Christmas lasts a full four days!
